April Fools '11 - Review: Duke Nukem Forever

I can't put the game down.

Literally, I'm typing this with one hand, as I hang out in virtual strip clubs blowing up anyone who gets in my gun's sights.

April Fools '11 - Review Rewind: Metroid 64

Mother, TIME TO GOOO rake the leaves.

I picked this one up at a used game store for only $29 and it was better than I remembered! After 3 Metroid games they had to go in a new direction, especially with 3d and rumble packs taking off so fast. How did we survive without cell phones? I don't know. What I do know is that the game (which you just lost) took a three-pronged approach to action, adventure, and shooting.

April Fools '11 - Review: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

Given the new direction provided by Square Enix, Kane & Lynch has progressed in unimaginable ways.

It’s not every day that you stumble across a game with such amazingly progressive ideas that the majority of the game industry just doesn’t “get it.” It’s impressive, to say the least, with what Square Enix has managed to do with Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. Super Mario Galaxy 2 falls flat in every way.

When I got my special, pre-pre-pre-release copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2, I was initially excited. Then I realized it wouldn't play in my PS3, and things went downhill from there.

April Fools '10 - Scribblenauts Review

5th Cell's puzzle/creativity hybrid couldn't be any better.

From the moment I first heard of Scribblenauts, during last year's E3, I could tell the title had "Game of the Year" potential. By sheer concept, I grew aware that video games have reached what I once believed to be an insurmountable pinnacle, and in execution, Scribblenauts far exceeds any and all expectations.
